Good luck to all of the wrestlers. I know I see several interesting match-ups for the kids and weights that I know well. Also very glad to see some of the High School guys getting out and getting a little more competition in. These guys will be competing in one of the best youth events in the nation this weekend.

Who is the coach or contact person for the event; please include a phone number.

Not sure what you are looking for but there is no single contact person / coach for this event. The kids are all traveling with their own clubs and coaches / parents and probably handled their registration alone as well. The tournament was open registration so anyone could enter.

This is a gret list of wrestlers. Remember the name in bold, this kid is going to be one tough stud when he gets older.

How does the Liberty Nationals compare to some of the other top tournaments? (ie Because I notice that there are as few as 6 to 8 kids in some of the weight classes for the High School Division.

The Liberty Nationals are a great national tournament for kids & middle school wrestlers. The high school wrestlers that attend Liberty are very good it's just that they don't have a ton of depth because some wrestlers are taking a few weeks off and some states in the midwest have not completed their high school state tournaments.

Also placing were Tate Robinson (3rd), Nick Gray (5th), Kirby Patterson (7th), and Brooks Sacharczyk (2nd Rookie Division).

Also, as mentioned before it is one of the premier tournaments for youth and middle school wrestlers. The HS division is not the most competitive but the kids winning the tournament in that division are usually national competitive kids.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
