Well I think its pretty obvious where the best AA basketball is and we can narrow it to a district.Well I've watched em all play and here is how I would rank the 8 that made it to the Boro.

 

1.Fulton(By far best coached and not bad recruiting effort this off season Stiles(Knox Central)and the big from Alcoa.

2-3.BTW and Bolivar dead heat

4.Carter-Couple of plays against BTW and could have gone 0-5 against Fulton coaching is no match Athleteticly even

5.LA-Depend too much on one player

6.Brainerd-Great draw in opening round

7.Sheffield-Athletic chaos

8.Lipscomb-How did they get here????

Lipscomb got there by winning games... Unfortunately for Lipscomb, their student body/crowd was a big momentum carrier in post-season, and this week was spring break. Not that it would have made a difference, but it could not have hurt having the students supporting you. We are very proud of you David Lipscomb. Great season!!

congrats to my falcons! im only a junior at fhs so my class is 3 for 3 in getting a state ring. im hoping for one all 4 years but about the game. fulton played text book jody wright d for 3 quarters and dominated but the 4th quarter the falcons were thinking to much about who would accept their gold ball instead of the game and that almost got them in the butt. but thankfully it didnt and we are going home with the gold ball!!!!! congrats falcons and good game BTW

Adsmom that 4th quarter was so awesome. Fulton played hard but BTW gave them one H%@l of a scare....

Well I would assume Lipscomb got "here" like everyone else....they earned it! I thought your comment about Lipscomb was unfair. I saw the Brainerd/Lipscomb game, and I think that Lipscomb got off to a bad start in the first half and had to play catch up the whole game. They did not give up and cut it within 4 in the final minute of the game. I have no association with either team, but I liked both teams. As I said in an early post I think that Lipscomb had a lot of class and heart. I, like you, have only seen them play once. You cannot make a comment like you made from watching one game! That's my opinon....and by the way....your team deserved the Gold Ball...congratulations...one heck of a team!

If BTW would've pulled that off, it would've been the best comeback I've ever seen! They were down 20 to start the fourth and lost by 1! I really like the way Steele plays. He's a great player! Where is Gallman going (PG)? He can handle the ball well and has a nice shot as well!
