Fact is they won by 19 in 2.5 innings & Keele had a HR as I'm sure other girls were peppering bombs all over the field off the 40 mile an hr pitching. But there is still nothing "big" about it. I do now understand that you are in the news business & its your job to make it sound good (big). Good luck Coffee Co.

Maybe I should have said wide margin, but YOU know I could have said a lot worse. It was a big margin or large or super, tremendous, incredible, and so on so on. I could have used any of these words, I didn't I used BIG so shoot me. I'm done with trying to explain this. Anybody that truly knows me knows I'm a BIG, whoops HUGE fan and I'll always will be of ALL Coffee Co. sports. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

I saw the box score today. First inning, four runs scored so there would be no clearing the bench. Second inning, 15 runs scored and any subbed for that early would have just gotten 1 or 2 at-bats. Third inning, Coffee did not bat so obviously nobody could be subbed. This is a non-issue.

Nobody has argued that 19-0 is not a large margin. Nor has anyone said that they are blaming CC for running up the score. Things like that happen in softball. People are only posting how it was TACKY that Radio posted THIS win. I agree with you completely " This is a Stupid Thread!"

Why should info on the result and leading batters be hushed up? What if they play a team that's not very strong next time and win by just a couple of runs, is that okay to put it since it wasn't a runaway? See what you get into, if one is open for discussion or reporting, all should be

I have a good feeling that it is going to happen this year. I have been watching CC a few years and this could be one of the best teams they have had. I dont see anybody coming close this year, all they will do is get better. I am not saying they will go un-defeated, i am just saying that nobody in our district will come close.

honestly...all i ever see on this site is how AWESOME Coffee County is.

sure, they are a good team..well coached.

but did i dream this or did Lincoln County beat them?

and i do believe they are in the same district.

just a reminder. this is a VERY close district.

Lincoln Co. did win 2-0 and their pitcher was very, very good and it will be another great game at Lincoln Co.

It amazes me every year Coffee catches the devil on here. Now to be clear im from Lincoln Co. so not taking up for them but you think maybe people are a little jealous of Coffee Co softball program. Why dont you do like we did and take lessons from them. Look at our facility, look how our booster club has been so successful, look how we have started having some descent teams often, not just every once in awhile. I think its cause we saw what Coffee was doing and took the hint. I will leave you with one question,If Franklin Co had won 19 to 0 and their radioman posted big win would there have been this big of fuss. I DONT THINK SO! Now with that said good luck to all the teams in district 8 and no i dont think its going to be a cake walk for Coffee to win district this year nor do i think its one of their better teams they have had,but only time will tell.
