Lest we forget..Carter plays Berean tomorrow night. Rusty Baxter, Alexander Haun, and the seniors on Berean's team would love nothing better than to beat Carter....right now I am a lot more worried about Berean than I am Seymour. Coach Lee will have his troops more than ready....after tomorrow night's game...I will be a lot more worried about Seymour. But tonight....it's Berean.

It's actually Jacob Lindsey--he played last year with the Starz in Sevierville-a combo team of Sevier County/Seymour players with a King's Academy player as well. KFC the year before that, and Impact for 4 or 5 years.

Rusty Baxter, Alexander Haun, and the seniors on Berean's team would love nothing better than to beat Carter....right now I am a lot more worried about Berean than I am Seymour. I think Seymour has the better overall team, but Carter has better individual players (not just mark). I expect an offensive shootout, which is carter's strength, so I'll go with Carter 5-3

You know what KFC team he played with?

 

 

'07 Fall he played with the '92 DI team--can't remember the name. Played w/Landon Monday (keeper @ Loudon), 3-4 of the guys from CAK, a couple of West teammates, a couple from Bearden, etc--all great young men. It's hard to blend two teams from competing clubs into one and be on top the first year. He will play DI again this fall to get ready for his senior year.

Looked up the scores that the coacht page has and it shows Carter outscoring it opponents 33-6. Who did Eurosport has scoring the goals against Carter? Just curious? 2 of the goals were scored by Hardin Valley, 3 by Jeff county, and 1 by Harriman. I think a big factor for Seymour is to not foul within 25 yards of their own goal. I've seen Sherrod bury a ton of free kicks from that distance. This is going to be an exciting game.

Look at the schedules Seymour has played a tougher schedule up to this point in the season. Not all with the results they were looking for. They have seen better teams than Carter. If that carry over to the scoreboard remains to be seen.

It does look like Seymour has had the tougher schedule, but if S. Fox at Sevier County can get one then Sherrod can get 2 or 3. So you can take a guess that Seymour needs 3 to win or tie and with no goals against Sevier County and only 2 against Clinton they may not be able to have the offensive power to take down Carter in my opinion. The only time the goals have come for Seymour have been against some of the weaker teams.
