My understanding is their will be a ruling very soon, and it doesnt look good for GCA,they may have to forfiet all games after the KCS kids transferred.Post season games as well.Their saying it was not a hardship, and the kids actually had to move and the coach told TSSAA they did,and thats why the Admin did what they had to do.EDITED

Had nothing to do with the KCS kids that was all approved. It was the florida transfer and just an error made on a form, nothing done on purpose just didnt have a full understanding of the rule and was self reported by Grace.

A coach is there to be a example and someone the kids respect. He is there to build character and help these kids understand what it means to be a strong christian example to others. I am not saying coach lamb didnt do this but to say it doesnt matter is misguided. Sports it just a great way to teach young men and women about life lessons and how to deal with them. Alot of people can coach and teach the GAME but I respect to ones that also teach honesty and how to deal with dissapointment as well. Just my thoughts

I agree with most of what you say. I would like it if ALL coaches and teachers were more worried about the character and faith of their players and students. I think that we as a society would be much better off. However, some people are simply not built that way. I do think that it should be enough for a coach to come in and do exactly that as long as the players are achieving in the classroom and behaving themselves. I stand by the comments about a coach not having to be nice to his players in order to get the job done. Some of the best coaches I have ever had were mean to players. That forced players to walk the line and never question why something was being done. Look at Bob Knight. He is the biggest jerk on the planet. He is also one of the most succesful coaches of all time.
