That is the worst thing that can happen. I hate to see a young player die like that, and I will be praying.

This has been very hard for all of those in and close to the program. Your prayers are definitly needed for the school, team, and especially family of Chris. He was only 17.

It is so traggic when a friend loses his life. One of my friends off my football team passed away while I played. I will never forget what his mom told me and I want all the players and friends of Chris to remember this. "Even though your friend has passed away, God has given you this day for you to live to it's fullest." Remember to live each day to it's fullest. Thats the way that Chris would want it.

I'll be praying for ya'll and his family.

I pray that the good lord will be with that young mans family and the whole community. Whoever said that it makes football seem not so important hit the nail on the head. Hopefully football can help ease the pain of those young men.
