clevelandblueraiderfan
I hate it for Soddy, its really hard to find a coach at this time of the year. But on the other hand, I'm glad we found a coach...so its kind of bitter sweet...Good Luck Trojans
soddyman
Yes it will be tough to find a coach right now, but I'm sure there are a few that would like the opportunity to be a Head Coach or move up to a higher Classification. Whoever applies and gets the job will have a really good team coming back. They have one of the top qb's in the state along with several good skill players. Coach Slaughter has done all of the hard work this past year, i.e. upgrading facilities, weightroom, etc. The next coach will have a very good foundation to start on. The program is in tremendous shape today compared to where it was the day that EK was hired at Soddy-Daisy. You have to hope the administration will not panic and will give it a couple of weeks to see what kind of interest will be in this job. Anyone heard of any possibilities. We might go 2 for 2 and hire Cobble ending up with another up and comer.....Who knows.....We wish Coach Slaugter success. Money talks and he had to walk. Should be a interesting match up come October
macontiger4ever
Sounds like the old Soddy coach likes to toot his own horn. What about coach Jon Offutt he has been at Springfield. And he is Availible...Just talked to him. If not him maybe the coach you should have hired from central before you gave the job to the waste of space of tom w. Should be a interesting match up come October 30 class act here, not like some of the other schools that bad mouth the coach if he leaves for a better paying job. i think you are right soddy daisy would be a great job, and he has that program going in the right direction. good luck to the trojans, and to the new coach. Money talks and he had to walk. Should be a interesting match up come October 30 Yes, Cobble would be a great pick for soddy, but then again Cobble's defense at Red Bank is stacked this year. So he may not leave. If not Cobble, I would go after Scotty Smith at Walker Valley another very good D/C, who could be a very good head coach. The game on October 30th will be a good one.
