Spring has got off to a good start. Hard to tell how the team will look from the 1st two days of spring b/c of players in other sports. I know yesterday they were missing 5 probable defensive starters from practice and 2 key back ups bc of spring sports as well as 3 offensive starters and key back ups. They do have 19 starters coming back from last year's squad when the dust settles so that should be a plus. I know thaey made some huge gains in the weightroom during the offseason and have some potential playmakers at the skill positions. OLine must improve and defense needs to step up. Good group of freshmen from Hunter / Brown coming in so future looks bright as well.

word is Barger is hot and heavy after the Soddy job. how will the kids react to that?

The Pounders are in spring and their coach HAS NOT talked to Soddy. VOID, why would they not want "that guy"? He is a heck of a coach and did good things at his last rebuilding job. Obviously you must know him personally to be making such statements. Why don't you enlighten us on why they shouldn't go after him.

You are crazy, and Soddy would be lucky to get him. I know wveryone thinks EK is great, he did a great job. He just went in and did what a lot of small teams do all the time, and that is just outwork everyone, and hope people have a good experience doing it, he just did it with a big school. Coaching football is not that complicated unless you make it that way. You do however must be willing to put in the work, and find assistants willing to do the same. Barger would do fine there, I have not talked to him, do not know if he is interested. I would go to war with him.

This is supposed to be a thread about Central spring football not Soddy-Daisy or Coach Barger. Let's keep it positive and focus on that. The scrimmage on Friday will be at Signal Mtn. as well, forgot that in last post

      Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
