The New Region 7

Well are far as a darkhorse goes Kenwood will make a few splashes but are missing to many weight class to be extremely effective, not saying they can not win some matches only that to be consistent they need to fill those open weight classes.

 

I really have believe there are 2 darkhorses this season... Springfield and Rossview

 

 

 

Rossview kids have definatley put in the work. Have full team and will be tough.

Beech had a few kids work the freestyle season and preseason. Beech should be improved this season. Only lost one senior last year, kleinert rest are returning. So Beech was really young last season but they are working hard. Expect them to make a little noise over the next few seasons

I do know that Dickson has a VERY strong freshman team this year. Some of the names are: Andy Smith, Luke Humphreys,Shawn Vincent. I do know there are some more. I do know that they have someone in every weight class this year where in past years they didn't. Dickson has a solid sophmore team too. Ben Knox, who was a state qualifier last year, Ryan Shepard the brother of Greg Shepard,James Barnes,Jake Tyer, and there are others. Oh course they have Greg Shepard and Rakim Talley. Should be a VERY solid team and one of the top contenders for region 7.

This would be easier if people knew where the other schools wrestlers are going to be. Should we base the ranking on the "Ol' Bump the Kids Up One Weight Class Due to age"? Or base it on where they were last year (which to me would not be worth it salt).

 

But I too would like to get an idea of who is the best for Region 7
