For someone who "didn't deserve to be there" Carter Watson did a pretty good impression of a dominant pitcher Saturday night in a 4-1 Tennessee win over Oklahoma. Watson is now 3-0 in 3 starts over the past two years in this tournament. Sour grapes aside, this kid has stepped up big every time they've run him out there.

great job carter but............ Oklahoma blue after 4 games are 1 and 3 given up 21 runs and only gettin 8. good win yes, dominant win not to much.

Did Pfeifer from Farragut even pitch? I never saw him mentioned in the recaps.

I don't know if Pfeifer even made the trip but I do know that one coach listed did not make the trip to Oklahoma. I have heard more than one high school (probably 15 or 20) coach say that they don't feel any underclassmen should be allowed to play for Team Tennessee as the slots should be reserved for kids going into their senior year.

Pfeifer made the trip and started 2 games. In both games he got a no decision. He pitched the second game against Georgia and the last game against Arizona.
