Per ESPNU and Rivals, Tim McAdoo has made a "Soft" Verbal to the Wildcats............

Is there any word on some of the other schools in the hopper? I hope the young man can make a decision soon and focus on the task at hand for him and his team. I know first hand that this process can be very stressful and can consume a lot of time, energy and focus which would be better served on class work and football preparation.

Good luck Mr. McAdoo and Oakland Patriots.

From what it sounds like, the decison was made in order to get ready for the season at hand. That and it appears that UK has shown by far the most interest from the get go, were the first team to offer a scholarship if I am not mistaken.

BAMMMMMMM!!! As most of you old-timers know.......this news makes me EXTREMELY ecstatic! I am an avid Wildcat fan and take major heat for my support of UK on here. We have sure taken our lumps over the last few seasons. I am so proud that SMACKaDOO is going to be a Wildcat!! I usually make it to all of their home games and can't wait to see my boy making a name for himself next fall and bragging about where he came from. We all know he is a force to be reckoned with. Congrats!

2p, more than once I've had your back. However, I gotta call you on "we have sure taken our lumps over the last few seasons." Maybe ya'll have taken lumps the last SEVERAL seasons squared.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
