Best Returning Pitchers

Nathan Forrest, Harpeth High School, is a tremendous returner for the Indians. He is a lefty that throws high 80's low 90's and is being heavily recruited by some nice DI schools. He should really excel this year with a new coach who will whip that team into shape.

Watson and Sims are 2 quality starters that return for Siegel. They have a junior by the name of Zach Taylor that has all the makings of being a good 3rd starter. Kids got great controll and solid off spead stuff. Reminds me of Mitchell from Blackman when he was a junior.

Jordan Collier Jackson County. 8-2 record in 09 138 K's 28 walks. The best part he is only a junior. Throws in the mid 80's with good slider, and spots his fastball real well.

The Peterson kid threw anywhere from 85 to 88 as a sophomore, i saw him play in the Regional Championship,this kid can bring it.

Willis from Gibbs 18 wins over 2 years with the Eagles (remember he transferred from Franklin after his Freshman year)

Brian Miller and Dylan Tosocano from Independence? Brian went into the state tournament last year with a ERA less than 1. and Dylan is being scouted by some major SEC schools.

I agree that Stevie does have a LOT of talent. Great kid and good work ethic. Oakland also has Griffin Moore who should be a big help on the the mound. Also remember that they are only juniors and they still have 2 years of baseball to play. Should see a lot out of them over the next 2 years.

I had the pleasure of getting to know and seeing Ross Mitchell pitch this fall. He is an outstanding kid and I believe he can dominate this coming year. He has great control and, if allowed, he knows how to effectively use change of speed in his pitch selections.
