On defense you have what we used to call 'team tackling'. In simple terms, one grabs a hold and the rest hit when they get there. Simple, but effective.

Hendersonville is a little down this year. Coach Hatfield is one of my favorite coaches. Riverdale should win.

I will concur with that. There are no standouts per say. The runningbacks are good not great. Receivers are good not great. Line is really good on both sides. Linebackers are solid. Looks like a total team effort his year. Very workman like. They have a passing game which is really complimenting the running game. Should be a tough opponent in every game.

I just want to say that I am not happy about the game being on thrusday I will have to DVR the game LOL...Richie has a ball game on thursday so i will miss the football game DADGUMMIT

Perusing the other thread, it sounds like HHS has very stout lines on both sides of the ball. That should be a very good test for our lines, especially the d-line.

 

The one thing I took from week zero is that Riverdale just needs to get better each week from an execution standpoint and needs to contunue to get more physical. Looks like the district is going to be a real bruiser. Let's see some more Riverdale football tomorrow night. In the new format every game, even the non-district games, are important.
