I still say you will not see a team more improved from Game 1 to Game2 than DL. I know they are young but.... this is game 3 for us. we are ready

Lipscomb wins this one in a comfortable fashion. Coach Mac will sit on the ball and run his offense and keep the defense off the field. As its already been mentioned the trap will work in some way but again that is not all his offense. Lipscomb football's improvement is always the greatest between weeks one and two plus with the off week I am sure they will be more than ready to play. Coach Mac to my knowledge has one loss to metro schools. He always finds a way to win. IT will be another Lipscomb football game where in the end the stangs will out execute and capitalize on the others mistakes. This will not be a blow out or stomping Maplewood will be ready to play and be a more than formidable opponent. Kudos to Coach Thompson for helping transform a school. Much respect for their hard work and efforts. Lipscomb runs speed option for the win. Enjoy

…I should have seen this coming. I guess I’ve been away from the game too long. The guy who makes 3 consecutive posts on the same thread and touts his post count. The one who says at one point,

- ill be back later ..2 deal with you clowns ..i have work and research to do. Maplewood Wins!!!

And then makes another comment exactly 2 minutes later. Rest easy, Boski, there is a light at the end of your message board tunnel. Of course, that light is about 13 Hooked on Phonics sessions away, but what matters is that it’s there. Maybe, if you threw in another exclamation point, bulldog would believe you. Maybe, if there was another smiley face figure of some kind, he would tear the blindfold away from his digital eyes to stare in amazement at the pure genius that lies in the comment:

Perhaps you should be more concerned if you, a panther, lets a mustang bite you first. I apologize for not throwing any Chinese proverbs or Irish translations in this post. I figured basic sentence structure would be challenging enough for one post.

Wow I guess I'm glad that I started this thread. It has been interesting, but puzzling at times. Boski obviously played football, but maybe without a helmet. Anyway, I still believe it will be a good game that could go either way. I'm taking the Mustangs, in a battle, by a touchdown.

 

I'm not seeing much respect for the Mustangs from the Maplewood front. They have a very good team and should be proud of their team. However, taking opponents, especially ones with the track record Lipscomb has, could be a serious mistake. I'm reminded of similar attititudes being displayed by Mitchell, Fulton and others prior to being surprised by the Mustangs. I also think back to a post from one of our region opponents that was addressed to one of our playoff opponents. They said playing Lipscomb is about as much fun as having a root canal procedure at the dentist. As they then said, sit back and enjoy it....
