Brentwood v. Oakland

Solid running back that can be quieted with a solid defense. He really did not get going against Smyrna until the defense got tired. Brentwood is a good defensive team that is still somewhat searching for an identity. Look for Oakland to pull away for good in the third quarter. Oakland by 17.

As this will be Oakland's first HOME game this year I expect we will see extra effort put on for the home folks who have not traveled with Oakland yet this year.

This Oakland's first home game of the year, period. They had to go on the road for all their scrimmages as well, a by-product of the re-sodding of the field.

I may have to make this game. Hotdogs and one of the better match ups this week in the Mid State. I have a feeling this may not be the only time these two team play each other this year.

Having watched both teams play this year, I was most impressed with Oakland.

They are more physical and more explosive.

Oakland by 2 TD's.

BTW, did anyone notice that Coach Nick made it to the sidelines against Siegel last Friday? Rumor has it that he will try to make a few more if he is strong enough. No wonder our players are so tough. Look at their example!

should be oakland's game. brentwood didn't do anything with smyrna until they got worn down. they don't have a lot of speed either. defense can be run on. the tailback is a big bruiser though. what is up with coach nick? haven't heard a thing. 27-7 oakland.

Somebody correct me if im wrong, but I believe Coach Nickerson was diagnosed with stomach cancer a while back. It was nice to see him though, just like it will be nice to finally be at home
