South Greene is also very tight as a team with just as much heart, determination and desire to win as your team. Don't think they won't be giving their all tonight. We are glad GHS thinks this one is already in the books.

1standgoal GHS dont think its in the books... the just some fans... but i also know some sg fans that said sg is gonna get beat..

That may be the case, but the fans won't be the ones on the field tonight. The Rebs will be and they know they aren't expected to win. They want to overcome the odds and prove the doubters wrong. The team expects no less than 150% from every player from the field to the sideline. I expect a good game tonight, the boys are pumped. :thumb:

I hope every Ricker, Jones, Cutshaw (or Cutshall), and what ever else tribes are in the county show up tonight. I hope there is not an open seat on the Visitor side. Hope they bring so much stuff they can't hardly carry it all in. Cowbells, Rebel Flags, and Rebel Juice should pass the time away, also don't forget them there rain coveralls and boots. Guess what Rebels, you will actually have to sit in front of your fans tonight, hope you can handle that.

150%, how did the Rebels get extra credit? I thought it only went to 100%, oh well math is a little different way out on the Asheville Highway. Just pokin' some fun!

the greene devils do not think that this one is in the bag at all! we know we cant come out flat...and as for the whole weak QB thing. Quarles is head and shoulders better that Susong and this is his first year as a starter...oh and about the Church haveing to be able to touch rim cause Susongs passes are 10 ft+ in the air, take into consideration that he can jump wit the best of them and if they do go up that high some unlucky SG reciever will be coming back down doing back flips!

GO DEVILS!!!

Quarles? Is that a joke, cause I'm laughing? :thumb: I have seen alot of GHS fans complaining about the play calling and you have good receivers so it must mean he don't have alot of faith in the QB to pull it off. Surely he would have passed agianst EHS more last week if he thought the QB could get it done. Most of your scoring has been on the ground and handing somebody the ball ain't that hard! I don't take away from the Devils D, I know they are good and bigger than ours and if the Devils win tonight it will be because of them. Tell Church to come on down, he might be the one doing flips!

Susong is head and shoulders above almost all of the QB's in the conference with the exception of Cumberland Gap's QB. Quarles has the luxury of having #87 as a reciever who is the best athlete on the team no matter what anybody says. Quarles does not have good backs this year to get the running game going. Don't know much about the defense but isn't Church about 5"4" tall.

While I have to agree, Susong is the better QB and has put up superior numbers in SG's first 3 games....but he has not faced a defense that had challenged his line. I think last year he had the tendency to make mistakes under pressure and he will certainly be pressured tonight. I think this game will be won or lost up front, particularly if it rains.

Yes, but that was last year. It's a whole new ballgame this year.

I agree and hasn't Gville had some injury problems on the O-line and Def-line though? The only advantage that Gville may have over the county schools is bigger lineman and more of them, but as far as skill players the county teams match them.

As a fan of UT, I realize that the odds are that FL will win against the Vols tomorrow. At this point, FL has the overall better team. Of course I hope that UT defies the odds and comes away from Gainsville with a W. The same with GHS/SGHS. The odds are that GHS wins due to several variables, but it could happen. I hope not. GO DEVILS!

    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
    • if redrocks sherriff ant able to follow redrocks sherriff own question postin in this thread of Catholic Norths ability to compete with redrocks sherrifs mention teams.... ......no way Booger can be of any help Booger just sayin
