Cumberland County coming off a very controversial road loss and Cookeville coming off thier first lost of the season. Cookeville has dominated this series since 1998, CCHS' last win over the Cavaliers. Can the Jets take the momentum in the district with a huge home win, or is it going to be the same ole' story Cookeville getting the best of the Jets? we will see, the winner of this game may be the front runner in the district. I could hardly believe it when I saw the score. I am just glad it was NOT on the u pick em or I would have missed that one.

 

I think a previous poster is right. Cookeville does NOT lose two in a row.

Boy that was definately a tough one to swallow. We got up quick with a 14-0 lead at the end of Q1. Then we got penalized 85 in the second quarter which called our momentum offensively. LA put up 14 controversial Q2 pts and we took it into the half up 20-14. LA went up 21-20 in the 3rd, then we drove right back to take the lead 26-21 and didnt get the 2. LA returned the ensuing kickoff for a td to take the lead right back. We had a drive stall at thier 40 bc of a low snap. Bad punt gave LA field position and they scored on a 4th and goal from the 18 on a fade to score, Db had good position but just didnt make a play. LA went up 35-26, ball game.

Jetpride...I have looked in the Tennessean, Herald-Citizen, Knox-News Sentinel and Times Free Press and not one has mentioned CCHS and a controversial loss to Livingston Academy. Wonder why? The only controversy to that game is in your mind.

with all your misconceptions and inaccurate guesses I hope you must be in the banking business, anyways as I have told you before jetpride6 does not film the games. the man that films the game is the baseball coach, and cookeville probably will have electricity because cookeville has some nice facilities unlike livingston where running water and electricity is a new luxury and the kids still practice the 3 r's in their huts made of pine logs and thatched roofs
