i am not surprised that no one mentioned the BRAINERD PANTHERS i know we lost alot last year but dont count us out we have a couple of seniors that can lead them to a good season and we will only get better as the season goes on and with the annual trip to the bahamas and i heard we are in the arbys classic so we play a tougher schedule then anyone in the city so look out for the us this year and TMAC (remember last year you said brainerd would be terrible, we only had 3 returning players from the year before and we end up making it to semi finals of the state) it will be a long year but i think my boys will surprise people

 

 

...How about 'surprising' us by posting your entire basketball schedule on CoachT...it's the least you can do since you 'claim' to have a tougher schedule than anyone in the city!!!

 

With all due respect to your teams, none of you all have as tough of a schedule as East Hamilton. We have to play all four of the district powerhouses (Red Bank, Tyner, Howard, Brainerd) and you guys only have to play three since you make up the fourth. Then we get Ooltewah and who knows who else to boot. I think we will be looking for some MORAL victories this season. Good luck to all and let's keep it clean. Go Canes!

Anyone know if Nick Ross at RB is playing football I have a roster and don't see him on it. But I also haven't seen his name in the box scores in the paper for any of their basketball games. I would assume if he isn't playing football he would be one of their leading scorers in BBall.

my reply is doc_6 and yeahbuddy how do you know so much about Nick Ross are you related to him? and why would someone say they heard he had problems with the coach. did this come from the Coach or from Nick Ross's mouth if it didnt come from either one of them then I have a problem believing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...You know how some folks throw stuff out there just to see if they get a response...they usually don't know so they fabricate(lie) a story...I wouldn't pay too much attention to it because more often (than not) they don't know what the "L" they are talking about!!!

Lion, I can understand your tone with the comment regarding Nick getting along with the coach, but I simply said "he chose not to play football this year". And to be clear, it did come from his mouth. I asked him at the Tyner vs. Redbank football game. No, I'm not related to him.

I never said BHS would struggle last year I because in this city in Bball I feel its Howard, Brainerd and then everybody else... WHat i said was that they wouldnt beat Howard and they didnt...pLUS THEY lucked up and didnt have to face Howard in last years Region finals... bUT this is a new year and BHS will BE decent at best but will lose to Howard again...tYNER IS OUR WORRY...They play hard against Howard because they want to be our Rivals so bad... bUT i feel BHS will beat Tyner... tHEY ALWAYS DO

this comment is to yeahbuddy. I can ask Nick Ross anything I want and I know first hand what is going on, make sure you have all your facts together before you go shooting your mouth off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and furthermore do you know anything about the coach at the high school? No he is not the brightest and sometimes does not make the best decisions but, he is still a coach and these are still kids!!!!!!!! Leave people alone and go cheer for whatever school you want, just stop spreading lies about kids and coaches. Be careful about what you say it can always come back to bite you real hard!!!!

Welcome back Mr. Ross 19 in your first game back, very nice. I would say RB just got a little harder to beat and just in time with Central, Brainerd and Howard coming up. However, RB didn’t close out very well last night and had Baylor shot free throws (11-24) better it might have been a little tighter. Cherne needs to keep working on the depth as the last 5 minutes were not the best.
