WHS playoffs?

Can west high still make the playoffs? with farragut and catholic both loosing non region games jus like west, what does this mean for the playoff picture? Any thoughts concerns?

Just finish ahead of Catholic in the region. Catholic still has mayville, west, and bearden. West has catholic and bearden. West 0-2 Catholic 1-1

Yeah, the most important games are still ahead of West. The Rebels just need to keep playing hard.

The top 5A school from West's district gets an automatic bid. That is Catholic right now at 1-1. West and Lenoir are both at 0-2. The top 3 5A's from the other district get playoff bids. Right now Anderson County and Clinton are both undefeated in district play at 4-0. The other spot is up for grabs between Campbell County, Powell, Halls, and Central. West must beat Catholic really have a chance of making the playoffs. TSSAA really made this easy to understand this year. lol

My understanding is that whoever has the best district standing out of Catholic, LC, and West makes it correct? So if West wins out against WB, LC, Catholic and Bearden and Catholic loses to Maryville or Bearden plus West then the two teams would have identical district records with the head to head being the tie-breaker.

 

PS: If West had an offense they would be one of the best teams around cause man is there defense good.

maybe next year west can make the playoffs. they might beat lenoir city this year if not 1-9 season , 3 games from their goal

West lost 4 offensive starters for the year, that's tough on any team. They're just making too many mistakes at critical times, usually in the red zone. They're sort of snakebit this year.
