Wonder who his team is? Or was?

MUS big over CBHS

Germantown over Ridgeway by a TD

Whitehaven over East

FACS over St. George's

Briarcrest over St. Benedict (but this game and the MUS-CBHS game don't matter because all four teams make the playoffs regardless of what happens...what a load of crap-why even play the regular season)

Millington over Craigmont in a close one.

I agree with MarkH's scores.

I have alot of respect for Craigmont and what the coaching staff has done over there. I knew that once coach V had been there for a while he would get it turned around. Good job coach. But I am a Homer.

BlackHavenSenator no disrespect last week but the upsat almost came true.

FIGHT TROJANS FIGHT

NEVER GIVE UP

My picks are as follows:

Millington proves to be too much and wins ............... ................... 21 - 7

Germantown stays focused and wins convincingly .......................... 21 - 7

Whitehaven leaves nothing to chance and soundly wins .................. 28 - 14

FACS is just too much for St. George's and wins ............................ 21 - 14

MUS gets the job done and is the top dog winning ......................... 28 - 14

Briarcrest isn't about to lose this game and win BIG ....................... 28 -7

That's it for me. How do you guys pick?

Mill 17 --- CRG 14 .................... Millington escapes.

Gtwn 24 --- RW 14 ................... Gtwn is just a better team.

Whtvn 33 --- East 13 ................ East is ALREADY eliminated from playoffs = Zero motivation!

StGeo 24 --- FACS 21 ............. St. Georges wins a see-saw game.

MUS 23 --- CBHS 13 ................. MUS shakes off its #1 rival, late.

Briar 35 --- St.Ben 10 ................ St. Benedict is outclassed.

Bingo! We probably won't hear a peep out of Millington fans the next two weeks. The possibility of finishing the regular season 5-5 may have them a little uneasy. Just my guess, but it seems like the Millington folks may be worried about their region dominance coming to an end.

Baiting us Millington Folks are ya?.... 5-5 is a possibility but definatly not likely. Both Craigmont and Arlington are good football teams. But, I would put neither in the class of MUS, Olive Branch, or CBHS (The three teams that have beaten the Trojans this year). As long as there isn't a repeat performance of last years fumble fest, I feel as though Millington will win this week 21-6. We are not good enough this year to overcome a plethora of turnovers though. It was amazing that we overcame them last year. I expect to see a rested, healthy bunch of Trojans this week. The BYE week came at a good time. Lot's of Bumps and Bruises start to add up after 8 straight weeks of football.

Go Trojans!

Tell me about it Rob. We had our bye week 2 and hopefully they wont catch up with us with all the weeks straight of hard football. I guess it's better than last year's schedule though, when we had our bye week 0. Of course, we havent played MUS or Olive Branch, which I'm sure were pretty physical games to start the year with.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
