The weather seems to be cooperating and the rain chance is down to 20%! I have finished carving the pumpkins for the concession stand and I must say the M is looking fine!

Now, I have tiggered long and hard. I watched some film. I watched some practice. I consulted my magic 8 ball. I will continue to go with heart....

McCallie 17

BA 14

Save me a seat oldwiseone.... I have to hug my senior on the field pregame!

At least one BA person needs to make a prediction...here's how I see it...common opponents is a place to start.

BA beats JPII 42-6 (42-0 at half), McCallie wins 28-10 (their only DII win)

BA beats BGA 48-14 (42-7 at half with a TD called back), McCallie loses 17-7

BA beats Baylor (21-7 at half), McCallie loses 24-10

BA beats MBA 26-7 (with a missed FG and 2 missed extra points), McCallie loses 27-24

BA loses to Ryan 35-34 (Ryan scored 14 points off turnovers in a 10 second span, it was 21-7 at half while McCallie loses 17-12

unless BA turns it over and plays a miserable game, they are a 3 TD favorite. My concern is that BA doesn't take McCallie seriously and comes out flat, but I think Coach Potter will prevent that. Go Eagles!

BA has the better stats and the better team physically but, it will be an emotional game with the return of Potter to his old turf.

So how does each tema react to that emotional aspect. It will come down to coaching and I don't think Potter will leave without a win.

BA 38

McCallie 14

I will have to come by and check out the McCallie pumpkins at concession stand.

My predictin BA-38 McCallie-14 (Scoring their last TD late in the fourth quarter)

McCallie may play emotional but Potter knows them inside and out, emotion lasts for about 4 plays then its down to who has prepared more. McCallie's offence is like Baltimore Raven's defence, once the creator of the system is gone, it becomes lack luster. Like playing the game telephone, the system gets past down by hear say, slowly changing.

hope baylor beats father ryan

    • They knew, that was the year we went down and beat Riverdale on their field in playoffs right?  Didn't Clary get into it with the Riverdale fans sitting just outside the window of the press box?
    • COLLAPSED LUNG?!?! I guess he just didn’t tell the coaching staff?
    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
