Owls look good at spring practice.Line has good size,backs,recvrs look good.Can't wait for baseball and track guys(if they show at all,because of seasons).Hopefully a couple of lineman show up this summer like Dylan Hood,Malchai Moore(both played as freshman)but never came out after freshman year.Other former players are expected to show. Coach-Shannon Williams and his staff have lit a fire so far..NEW ATTITUDE!!! new offensive scheme etc...Heath Weir has moved up to coach varsity,his intensity has got everybody hoopin and hollerin all practice.There are more kids at spring practice than owls had as a team last couple of years.,.started with 60 something(minus track and baseball). They are young,but have alot energy and skill.2010 should be very interseting!

Who are better players at Ooltewah? Did some of those studs that left and went to E. Ham. come back? If you had all those back, you would be good.

Owls will be fine this year anyway,with or without players that left the program.A few walking the halls are coming back this year. Good luck to everybody.

We seen what real studs those kids were. They went 1 and 9 over there, and that was in the pee-wee division of high school football. I would say I speak for most Owls fans...Trust me they can keep those kids. We dont want any of that rubbing off on the Owls.

Ooltewah football is alive and well. Some new faces have showed up with some big bodies.Coach Williams has the boys buying into his style and they love it. Spring game will be entertaining even without some players,because of spring sports.

Thaddeus Demery was the work horse on offense. Michael Parsons had 6 or 7 tackles, including a sack.

Rumor is Ricky Lavell and A.J. Cooper looked good in the trenches. Both will be Sophmores, with a lot of potential. Also, is Cornelius "crackerjack" Watson going to make an impact on Defense, or just be a special teams player?
