CoachT, I have a pop up blocker and it is NOT helping. I can put up with the freezing up if folks will get on here more during the day so it does not freeze during the evening when most of us are on.

I also figure this is being VERY frustrating for you also, but we will support what ever decision you make because a slow CoachT beats the heck out pf a NO CoachT! B)

I was addressing his popup ad comments, not the other problem.

Let me know how it is reacting today, for you, because it works fine for me.

Did not want to read all the post, so if you have discussed this nevermind. I have had the same problem but my computer said my virtual memory was low. The more pages that was on the thread the slower my computer, too many adds for my computer to keep up. Not a computer guru but I was able to increase my memory and havent had problems since. Google "virtual memory" and you can find out how to increase your memory without buying more.

Had the problem on another site for the first time. It is no doubt a Flash or Active X problem with only certain fancy Ads. Not the pop up. It just grinds away with the occassional Visual C+++ error. They rotate the ads, so it doesn't get you everytime. I have put CoachT in restricted sites with no Flash or Active X support and it works fine, but missing some menus and ads.

Love CoachT and thank the owners. I know it is not a problem with the board itself.

ps Have updated Flash, IE, XP, etc. to no avail.
