Gordonsville at South Pittsburg

One thing about it Croz...After talking to some of the main boys they are focused on Gordonsville and want to put it on them...Guess that loss at home in 2006 still rubs them guys the wrong way so no chance for overlooking the tigers

One thing we need to work on this week is containment cause if Gordonsville Qb is anything like his brother then I know he likes to scramble....What kind of offense does Gordonsville run and Defense?

does any one notice jacoby jacobs on the kick off coverage team.this guy gets after it,if he puts on 20 more lbs next year he will be a force to deal with,johnathon blevins had a big hit in the back field and remeal and garrett stuck there tailback repeatedly.this team is loaded and will have to have bad luck not to win out.stay focussed and practice hard.

Oh yeah, Jacoby just flat out runs over people on the kickoff. I remember at one point he busted through the Eagleville wall and knocked 4 defenders backwards and still made the tackle....for his size, he has amazing speed, usually the first one down the field.

yes jacoby reynolds... it was like bowling pins falling down... and he doesn't dive at the feet.. he just barrels through you... line him up in the back field and just tell him to hold on to the ball with both hands and don't stop till the whistle blows.

I thought it was funny last night when our "hecklers" told eaglevilles team they hoped the varsity was behind them because those players were not going to cut it

Seriously! That's what I was thinking - Why would gville complain about visitor seats @ MTCS when they didn't even use them. All the "hecklers" (probably wanna be players) stand around and put down HS kids. There is something seriously wrong with people who think like that.

 

Sounds like the gville / SPitt game is gonna have a lot of hot air.

1. That's not a G-ville fan talking about the heckling.

2. They didn't use the visitors seats at MTCS because you can't put over a thousand fans in the provided 200 seats.

3. Come on down to the S. Pitt/Gville game and see how much hot air there is. You don't have anywhere else to go Friday.

I think ya'll already got revenge for the 06 loss. Remember 07?

We run an offense, from what I can tell, similar to Marion Co. with some other things thrown in. And, IMO, the Smith kid we have now is better than his brother. The arm is about the same but the young one is a better straight ahead runner.
