Even better sarahpalin, you could come down to Ft. Benning and workout with me. I need someone to carry all 1100 rounds of my 7.62mm ammo for my M240B machine gun... By the way rebel nation, win this week and I might get leave over Thanksgiving and see a semifinal.

Respect and Honor. Thank you for your service to our country. Gods speed to you and the US servicemen/women whom protect our country.

but ....... am i supposed to be impressed by your statement that you want me to carry your weapons and ammo ? .... I lost my brother ( LT. USN Seal Team 6) and i can tell you he never bragged nor challenged anyone to workout with him. In addition he was not weak nor lazy enough to ask anyone to carry his guns and ammo.learn something from that!!!! I guess you are just out of basic so you will learn that in time,

huskertinkerbell i mean Mary Lou i will pass on the workout with you and the other boys, maybe one day i can take you to South Bend and show you where real men that played football worked out at

Gymnast, Rebel Fans,..........

Once again...sarahpalin aka aka goldendome aka louholtz....is on here talking trash...Last year he had to change his name 3 times because he was hated/ booted off/ foul mouthed and disrespectful....a shame to the ND alumni. If you disagree with the "almighty sarah palin" he bad mouths your children on the threads and challenges you to "meet him personally " hmmmmm wonder what type of lifestyle he leads? He has butchered indy Nations threads by calling out high school players by name and degrading them publicly....Bottom line...ND "line backer" waterboy whatever...you are a HAS BEEN...if you were ever anything...(refuses to provide proof of his name and when /if he ever played...Rudy....either way we DONT CARE!!!! You had your chance at Notre dame apparently, and you couldnt finish the task at hand. You left your pride and sweat in Indiana...Now you hang out on a Highschool thread degrading Eubanks, a certain qb, other HS programs and its just hypocritical.Follow his posts...anybody that receives any accolades on here, suddenly he jumps in and has done it twice and three times better. SNL skit anyone?

Your posts have toned down...to your credit, but here we go again...degrading someone else when he knows nothing....

I would take the bet that husker gymnast is in waaaay better shape than you have ever thought of being,,you have to be to do the rings and the pommel?....

Time to let it go old man...grow up....just follow your kid at Northwestern....and keep your brash opinions to yourself...really as several posters have made you look really silly over the past couple years.

You cant blame your spelling, or lack of, on your "big fingers on a little blackberry"

To all other posters....I apologize....its a sad day when you have to jam and badmouth someone elses kid. Lets hope for a safe , injury free , fantastic football game....

Wow, really, all this junk with SarahPalin is pointless. Just let her rant and don't respond to her.

I'm feeling good about the Rebels taking this by a TD tonight.

BTW: The IHS coach said, 'Looking back on our losses this year, we were in every football game and I still feel like this team is good enough to win any of those.' - Ok, let me think about it...27-0, 21-0...yep, that seems right to me, coach.

BEAT BRENTWOOD!

First rebel rebel look @ my IHS posts, each and everyone supports their program ( good friend of ex coach s smith) I have noted what anyone with football knowledge would say is that IHS has a poor run defense and a an FHS fan you should know that or go look at the stats for all the games.re read all my posts they support indy. As for callin out a kid I did that but only one kid and other IHS fans agreed with me for it.the father of a certain qb at indy always called heckman out by name so I defended alex and pointed out the father for badmouthin him...the other was yazzie when someone said he was a d- prospect from HHS and since the post was on him and me saying he was NAIA or Juco type was I wrong for being honest-again re read my posts..for coach eubanks I do think he is over his head, and has trouble callin offensive plays, yet again this is what any one would tell you..yeah I did want to meet someone one time b/c he challenged and was offensive so yeah I am a big boy that can take care of myself very well thank you-at least I can proudly say what did you ever do on a saturday? Say play for LH,sport a N.C. Ring, run out at the big house in front of 104,000. Okay sure maybe I was not a starter but from my jr.year on I played at least 5 plays, along with special teams-you?oh I forgot my ND sheepskin (excuse typos on blackberry) you called me a has been, yeah that's fine with me but atleast I was one.also living very well in so flo.when I visit my parents in b-wood christmas u can find me at starbucks off moores lane if you wanna talk

Well at least you havent changed....STILL talkin about your past, your south fla blue hair community, home. It doesnt matter WHAT you do or DID.....you feel the need to tell everyone....EVERYONE your past and accomplishments......WE DONT CARE! This is a high school football board for posting support to our teams...Now Im sure you can sit down with your parents, friends, neighbors and talk about what you did and where you have been...Im telling you CONGRATS....enough already...Lets talk football without bashing....HAha its funny because..YOU point out trivial things..."Im a big ol boy and can defend myself.." over what? I think you would be very surprised if myself or a couple of our friends did visit you....YOU dont know who your talking to.I would love to see your face...Challenging folks and bashing folks is not good sportsmanship....Im not telling you HOW to conduct yourself...Im just pointing out...Think of what your saying....THINK of what your doing....and stick to the topic.....Im done.

p.s. I think i might know this husker gymnast....and your better off NOT trying to hang with him in the workout room...

Lets play some ball...!!!!

Well,

The game is over and i gotta few things I want to say. Its not to hard to figure out who I am to Bruin faithfull and to some Franklin parents.

1. Don't kid yourself - I'm thrilled that the Bruins are moving on but my son, Smiley, played all of his rec. league football as a Grassland Golden Eagle with Ben Woodall, Logan Tucker, Cooper Gordon, and others that my feeble mind can't remember. The Rebels left everything on the field and have nothing to be ashamed of. I helped coach all of those boys and they are great kids.

2. I thought it was a ballsy call by Clayton to go for 2 even though it didn't work. I'd like to think the Bruin coaches would have done the same.

3. 2 games decided by 1 pt. Does it get any better than that?

4. I am really proud of the younger Bruins who stepped up with all of our injuries and played their hearts out.

5. If we want to win the war in Afghanistan, send Ron Crawford over there to lead the troops.

6. Even with all of the smack talk in this board, I saw nothing but sportsmanship and hard hitting by both teams on the field. A lot of mutual respect out there during a well played, physical game.

7. I thought the refs stayed out of the way which is good.

8. I am thrilled that I never have to watch Alex Ford carry the ball against the Bruins but I wish him well with his future career wherever it takes him. The kid is a playuh!

Hats off to a tough Franklin team and their great season. Here's to the Bruins FINALLY getting healthy this week and getting prepared for a tough White Station team!

GO BRUINS!

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
