Big play...Huntingdon had UC 4th and 3 but UC drew the Mustangs offsides for a first down... This drive was good for 57 yards....Top rusher right now is QB Chase Bowling.. Halftime @ Union City... 17-0 Union City... Huntingdon has passed 7 times in the half completing 4.....Union City has rushed for 171 yards on 26 carries...UC is 0 for 0 passing.... With 11:40 remaining in the 3rd qtr, on Huntingdon's first play from scrimmage, Kennon Holder went for 80 yards and a TD..The PAT was just barely good but good it was.... Huntingdon - 7 Union City - 17 UC responded...Took the ensuing kick-off and drove down the field on a drive that ended with Josh Nicks scoring, bulling his way over from 2 yards away...Guerri's PAT was good.... Huntingdon - 7 Union City - 24 Huntingdon then committed the game's first turnover which led to a Kendrick Price 6 yard TD run at 2:36 remaining in the third qtr....The PAT by Guerri was no good, only the 4th miss of the year (60-64) by Guerri.. Huntingdon - 7 Union City - 30 The third quarter ended with Huntingdon attempting a pass that was intercepted by Kendrick Price.... Huntingdon - 7 Union City - 30 Have to give the Mustangs props...They had a great season...They played a tough schedule and beat the Tornadoes the first go around...They just ran into a buzz-saw tonight...Union City played near flawless...No turnovers and other than the one 80 yard TD run by Holder the defense did what they needed to do..Got nothing but respect for the Mustang program... volfan007 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 Congrats UC. Yall ran the ball right down Huntingdon's throat all night long. Thier defense could not stop the run. And, yall almost contained Holder. I believe he had 140, or 150 yards rushing. But, UC came out ready to play and win, and Huntingdon just didnt look very sharp, and they even got into a fight in their own offensive huddle early in the game. But, UC is rolling right now.
