redbirdfan
Westview travels to Troy on Tuesday to take on the Lady Rebs of OC led by former Lady charger assistant coach Lyle LaRue and University of Texas signee Chassidy Fussell. Basically, it's the same two squads from last season with "da View' coming off a great post-season run advancing to the final four in Class 2A. Lead by Amber Rechis, the Swaims and Co. this game could come down to the supporting casts. The teams split during the regular season last year with "da View" winning an OT game in the district tournament We all know that one player can't beat five so others will have to step up for the OC to have success. Who will be the second bannana to Gibson Co. in this district.. your thoughts
rehctawehT
Look for the home court advantage in T-Roy to be the only difference in a close ball game. Remember how it goes though.....wins in December never mean as much as wins in late February.
GCPioneer
I wouldn't be surprise to see Central win this game, but I believe Westview has the better overall TEAM and will pull this one out. Westview just needs to sag off of Fussell and let her shoot the 3 all night. Do not let her penetrate. I also believe Westview has the better supporting cast around Rechis. Grace Ann, Sarah Olds, Brianna Pitcher, Taylor Swaim.... they have more than just Rechis. I'm taking Westview by 6. Westview - 57 Obion Co. -
Hater_Nation_Rules
I think that both of these teams are matched up "fairly" close. I would think that OC would take this one, because it is at home. Should be a good show watching the top guns from both teams light the nets up.. SayingWhatYouWishYouCould
I will be shocked if it is anything but a Westview victory. Not saying blowout just feel like it is WEST all the way in this one. And will be a nice road win in the process.

GCPioneer
Congratulations to Obion Co.! They came to play tonight. Westview isn't looking like the same team as last year, right now. Fussell had 46 points in tonights game!!!!!!! She nearly outscored the whole Westview team. That's amazing stuff. She definately came up big tonight for Obion Co. Obion Co. held Rechis to only 10 points tonight. Westview was lead by Jaycie Sims with 12 points on 4 three pointers.

sportslover88
Ok first, congrats to Obion on the win. They wanted it more and Fussell was nonstoppable tonight. Second, tonight's game was the worst officiating game I have ever seen! The referees let it get way out of hand! First, you have an Obion player sling a Westview player down right in front of the ref and no call was made. Coach Stephenson then gets a technical foul for yelling at the refs! (I would of been yelling too had my player just got slung to the ground and no call was made) Then there were hard fouls and pushing back in forth by both teams with no warnings or anything given. Then, Grace Ann Swaim is pressuring the ball and the ref calls a foul on her and AFTER the whistle was blown gets elbowed in the face hard by Katie Pate. Swaim gets upset but does not hit her back or anything and she still gets thrown out of the game too?! Guess she should of hit her back since it would have been the same consequence. Oh yeah and after Pate elbowing Swaim in the face, they get to shoot free throws and get the ball back. What sense does that make?? All I am saying is there better be a good officiating crew when the two teams play at Westview because if not it will get ugly!! Again, congrats to Obion tonight
