Hillsboro won't beat Overton. I don't think they have the team to make it all the way through the playoffs again this year.

Crest20...thats cus I am bias and I will always root for my team...I am not real impressed with Briarcrest, but they are still very dangerous...this Briarcrest team still has some dangerous weapons, but lacks many things that they have been known for...

1-big bruising lineman (got a few but not 5 like years passed)

 

2-intimidating run stoppers (linebackers who would stop anything)

 

3-fierce run blocking fullbacks (no cotton this year)

 

4-dangerous receiver (if you don't count towns as a receiver, this years squad lacks a schneider or hoppe that they are used to having)

 

I think Briarcrest has the best lineman in d2, and they have th best runningback...

 

BGA is very good, but they do not match up very well against harding for some reason.

 

I don't see why people are so high on ECS...they got beat by CBHS pretty handily.

      I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.

      Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.

      Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!

      Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
