66in74
The Chargers Baseball program really was a powerhouse back in the 70's. The 80's and 90's saw some pretty good teams as well. They haven't really done much since about '02. At least that's the way I remember it. Maybe this new Coach can turn it around.

columbiaguy
Very true! I apologize and let's get back to the subject.
tigertim2
People didn't expect to go to a small JUCO school and work like it was a D1 program. Coach Corn may have to give in a little as well as hard workers. He is not running a Tennessee program. I played both Juco and D1 baseball. I was fortunate to play for 2 really good programs. Played in the Juco World Series and the NCAA Regionals. We had players quit all 4 years that I played and that was a good thing You have to weed out the weak and those who don't want to do the work. You can't win with those guys. Give me the guys who will put the team first and do "Whatever It Takes" to win and I will show you a "TEAM" In no way am I bashing your friends. Too many kids think that it's a cake walk. Think again! I have told plenty of High School kids and their parents that College baseball is a job. You must be able to handle the class load and work your butt off year round to be a successful college baseball player.

redbird9
Through 20 innings Tullahoma beat Lebanon by over 40 runs. Lebanon is extremely young.
dooleydaffy
Young or not that is an eye opener. That is almost scary to look at. Thanks for the update.
columbiaguy
dooleydaffey, did you change your screen name from kiffencrazy or is that another guy? I like the alliteration if it was you!
dooleydaffy
Yes it is the infamous kiffinkrazy with a makeover. E-Mailed CoachT and he changed it for me thank goodness.
columbiaguy
Through 20 innings Tullahoma beat Lebanon by over 40 runs. Lebanon is extremely young. There is no way this is true. I refuse to believe a team scored 40 runs in 20 innings on the first day outside for most teams.
