Oh no you don't. So.....you planning on taking a trip to Gray week 9? :hungry: Chick-fi-la and peanuts....good times. Supposedly the bleachers are fixed on the home side. I am sure I can find some red and gold for you :thumb:

Sounds like a date... I'll bring Mr. Jingles! :D Seriously though... I made the trip to Gray on week 8 against Volunteer last year. I sat on the home side right in front of the press box. The Boone crew I sat with showed nothin but CLASS. The gentleman in front of us even offered us some of his personal hot chocolate stash. Of course it's easier to show class when you're beating the fire out of somebody. :motorbike:

You don’t get it do you??? Let me try and draw a picture for you since you obviously can’t read between the lines. Ok…….. You have two fishermen… right. The one from THS has to fishing from the banks of Steels Creek with his tackle box and pole, while the fisherman from DB backs his bass boat into Patrick Henry Reservoir at Warriors State Park. Now… they both bring home 10 fish, but if you had to put your money on the one who brought in the best catch of the day…. and you had to do it sight unseen… which one would it be. So the point is… with almost (and maybe over by now) twice as many students to choose form, chances are DB would be able to land more of the “Big Ones†on their boat than THS. Now Bud… frame this… and put it next to your computer, so you don’t come on here soundin special the next time this subject comes up.

Actually, I do get it. But your example is wrong because you don't have half as many students as DB and you DO Not lose as many players to other schools as DB does. People say we pick up transfers, we actually lose more then we gain. So that puts us pretty darn close adding the DB transfer out routine that happens ALL the time. I think North has 3 or 4 transfers from DB this year alone.

The best part is I understand your concept more then you do. But after DB whips Tennessee High this year, you will be forced to say that DB has better athletes because our 63 will beat your 60. In a way you are downing your own school saying we have more talent percentage wise. But after you factor in the players that leave us so that they can start at other schools, it is really the same because I know TN High is not leaking players to other schools like DB is. Anyway, try again you lose.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
