I'm gonna try to get somewhere where I can see... but you know how that can be in that sorry excuse of a stadium. But you can't miss me... I'll be the black guy wearing the maroon shirt. :flower:

We should all meet at halftime of the game... seriously. Maybe at one of the concessions?

Talk about crappy accommodations, try sitting where we used to every other year we played you, with that bunch of eggheads behind us in their little boxes gauking at every thing we said or did....and having to park at the Rec....and 1 restroom...and well Im sure thats enough for now.

Oh well . . . Boo Whoo Spear24, boo whoo . . . We didn't realize the "bunch of eggheads" sitting behind you were so intimidating!

Lets call it like it is, shall we?? There was 2 restrooms, one on each end of the stadium. Small and not very accommodating for home or visitors. And yeah, you (we) all had to walk a little ways. But, you have to admit the visitor accommodations at D-B was substandard for a big city school. And NO restrooms on the visitor side.

Best venue in E. TN., I don't think so. When you guys actually get visitor bleachers that extend past the 30 call me. What kind of dummy installed that carpet without any thought to visitor bleachers?

Dude, a game at DB with the band and cheerleaders and the walk.....come on, it don't get any better unless your at Neyland. And thats a fact.

If you would check your own post you will see it says nothing about pre-game traditions. It says football venue (i.e. seating, concessions, parking etc..) your visitor side is terrible, and most honest DB fans will agree.

You haven't seen anything until you come to Boone and see the fireworks show that is set off when the team comes out. You would think it's the 4th of July all over again. Nothing but class in Gray!!

I like the fireworks, but I remember where they messed them up at the Mo West game two years ago. Two times the Blazers thought they won, fire works go off....and refs make a call where no one was even close to the kicker......shenanigans.

I just like the atmosphere at Boone. Been to so many games it always feels good. I like even better seeing those big teams roll into town. Should be interesting to see how much of the band DB and SH can bring haha.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
