Newsome is an exciting player to watch on offense. She, however, had no rebounds or assist last night in the championship game. Hope she becomes a total player at the next level. She would be something to watch then. Not that she isn't now.

Memphis Central isnt the best at the run-gun game sometimes. They can easily let it get out of control, however they have a great coach and def play intense defense. Northside began the second half running against Millington and did a fair job. The Lady Indians just need to play smart basketball. I like your chances and would love to see a rematch in the state tourny...maybe for the championship lol, i know thats wayyy down the road but it would mean the AAA Gold Ball would def make it West TN finally! Good Luck Northside!

It isn't the first time she had zero assist or zero rebounds...However, yall didn't shoot a lot of three pointers that would produce long rebounds either. Most of your shots were in the post or in the lane which led to my post players getting the rebound. She has the school record for assist in a game by the way She can pass! Some games players take over in different ways. I'm pleased with her performance! Last night was one of those nights when she put it on her shoulders, win or lose. Every game you won't stuff all the stats, thats why it's important to have other players that can do different things.

 

The Northside and Central game should be a good game. Northside is by far one of the toughest teams we have played all year. Very well coached!! They play with a lot of heart.
