reaction
To be the best you gotta beat the best. I'm sure there are plenty teams that could care less who they played, as long as they are in the state tournament, and have a shot. This isn't a "please the fans" event. Its the state tournament where the big boys play.
JungleJim125
Hahaha TSSAA gotta be joking. The 2 best teams in AA playing each other in the 1st round?! Lol that is horrible...but i guess they want the tourney to be interesting, who knows... What are you alls opinions on this? That stinks but hey good luck to the Tigers!! yankees8589
I said Fulton all year. But not in the first round against Bolivar. I take Bolivar.
BIGWEBB
Bolivar should be excited and very motivated after that buzzer beater loss last year might as well get that payback sooner than later GO TIGERS!
adsmom86
I am taking Bolivar in a close gamesame here
yankees8589
I believe Rudesill will come up with the game plan to win this game. The main reason I'm going with Bolivar is because the back court of Murphy and Tisdale have been together for 4 years and both are 4 year starters. Bolivar is hungry. Win or lose I believe Tisdale is going to have a big game.
Photoman
I don't need to have a chest thumping contest to tell you why.... But I just don't buy into the West Tennessee hype... Fulton wins. Go Falcons!
Celticsfan
Anybody who gets up and leaves after their team plays on Wednesday is not a basketball fan. I'm going to sit there all day to watch this one.
yankees8589
Fulton has been on a nice run the last three years but don't make the mistake of believing these Fulton teams are some of the greatest AA teams of all time because that's not the case....FAR FROM IT. Fulton deserves all the PROPS in the world in my book and until somebody beats them that would have to be the favorites. Fulton has won the last two state championships. Prior to that 4 in a row was from the West and I can assure anybody Bolivar and Liberty are very good teams....anybody that thinks otherwise is crazy. As far as the hype...If one was a college coach and had the opportunity to build a wall round East TN or West TN to recruit and build a team what area would that coach choose...no matter where ones allegiance is I think we all know the honest answer to that. Honestly I would say Fulton, Bolivar, and Liberty all have an equal chance to win it all. I don't think either one of these teams is head and shoulders better than the others and I think any fair minded person would agree with that. Good luck to all teams.
