Watch out for a team from Grove City Ohio! This a very strong team with excellent pitching! They are normally one of the top teams from Central Ohio! Good luck to all teams participating! GO LADY WARRIORS! :popcorneater:

Saw them last night. Good team and the pitcher was the real deal.

She is one of the top pitchers in the state of Ohio! :flower: Glad shes a senior this year finally! Be interesting to see how they do over all. I would think they will be very competitive! :flower:

If the pitcher you saw was tall with long blonde hair, she is very good. She pitched against Westview today and I was very impressed. Grove City has a very good team with a lot of speed! They beat Westview 2-0 today.

Trinity vs Hueytown AL: This should be an interesting game. Hueytown always seems to be one of the better teams in Alabama and the same could be said about Trinity, but those Alabama teams are tough just ask Riverdale and Beech. Loser Trinity[/b]

I went to watch TCA play on the Lady Rockets home field today. I also thought they would not be able to get by this Alabama power house but was wrong, HueyTown looks like a collegiate team. TCA's pitching looked very good, from what I heard they (TCA)were playing without there main catcher & their leadoff hitter was injured & not hitting. Game went into international tie breaker tied 0-0 tca's base runner on second to start the inning just made HTown's ss & 3rd baseman look foolish as she unexpectedly stole 3rd on the second pitch of the inning & then home on the misplay by Htown.

Loser was- HueyTown 1-0

Walker Valley vs Coffee Co: Although I haven't seen either of these teams I have noticed that Walker Valley is winning most of its games and I don't think things are going to change for this game. Loser Coffee Co.

Well NOitall..Your off to a bad start....

MrNoitall did not make these picks. It was Intheshadow. You are correct that this was the wrong pick, but this was a fantastic game with alot of great hitting. Funnest game that I've seen this year.

I'm glad you think I know it all, but actually I"m more of a know it some. Yes I got this game wrong and like I said I haven't seen either of these teams play, still haven't. Congrats to Coffee Co, however I would be concerned about the number of runs put up by both teams. If I read the right then 23 runs were scored in this game which leaves me suspect of the defense for both schools. I also got the Trinity/Hueytown game wrong, but I'm happy that the TN team won, especially a west TN team. BTW who won the Riverdale/Camden game, I didn't see a score listed. It sounds like this was a very good tournament and for the most part the TN teams showed that they can play with just about anybody.

I just got back from my 1500 mile trek around the great state of TN. trying to see all the "IT" games. I started at Coffee Co. Sat. morning and they were rained out so I went to Riverdale and they were rained out, then Columbia then to Blackman then to Ravenwood (got a speeding ticket) then back to Riverdale, Smyrna, Oakland, Lavergne, Forrest, and finally Siegel. I figure I spent close to $3,000 on gas and who knows what the ticket will cost me. I should have gone to the Soddy Daisy Tournament and just had a good time.
