turkey
I don't know anything about Middle or East teams. In the rural West, look for Lexington,Southside of Jackson and Humboldt to be among the best.
bd4vols
I'm sure you weren't in Chattanooga with Portland while they were finishing in the top 4 in the state. Every team there knew they were good and could possibly had the best hitting team there. We had a great game with them and they fought hard until the end. One or two breaks here or there and you may have seen them playing for the championship instead of us. They did a great job and you seem a little jealous. mcsouthpaw5
i think you forgot to put Marion County on that list. Marion has a very strong group of juniors and seniors coming back-10. Their pitching staff should be pretty solid from top to bottom. Their bats will be hot and their always a very good defensive team. They will be tough to put away, you may jump on them early but they are a late inning team. Look for Coach Raffo to go out on top this year! 10bwall
We could beat the D-Rays(lol,j/k) but we havent played them! Giles is gonna have a strong team this yr with prob 7 senior starters and a good pitching staff. We will prove it when the season comes around that we belong on this list. scuba
Livingston Academy should have a strong team. They return all of their starting pitching from last year and 6 starters. Pat Swallows returned to guide the team after being absent for three years.
gatorman
after winning the state title last year the team has worked hard with returning players and incoming freshmen as well. lookfor the tigers to be a threat this year behind stud left handed pitcher Brandon Maness as well as the other returning starters from last year. loop
I think Livingston should have one of their best teams in a few years. Copeland, Sells, Poston, and Murphy will be a very soild pitching staff which will also be very deep. Those guys should provide plenty of offense too. THEDOC
mcsouthpaw5 is right! This is their head coach last year, he has bought in a very good ######. coach from Grundy Co. Everyone has underrated Marion. [Edited by THEDOC on 11-24-02 10:12P]
