District 9AA AND 10AA

As a CPA graduate, I am disappointed to see this. A CPA parent questioning the Christianity of another person on a public forum. Lots of CPA students read what is posted on here, is this the example you want to be setting? If I were kbrks, I probably wouldn't be posting on here, but that's me. He has every right to. And while I might take issue with some of what he has written on here, I still have respect for him as a former teacher and coach of mine. jett- it's easy to get on here, create a new profile, and sound off on whatever you feel needs to be said behind the safe anonymity of your computer screen, but sprinkling in a bible verse doesn't mask your hateful tone.

Well said!

Can we please stop this bickering about CPA? Start another topic if ya'll want to discuss the nuances of religion and athletic politics. Does anyone have any thoughts on the upcoming Region 5AA tournament? I believe that, contrary to popular belief, that the District 9 teams will not be shut-out. Challenging as it may seem, I believe that a mistake is being made if anyone over looks the 9AA teams. Macon Co, White House, and Sycamore are no slouchs and can play ball. Just cause you can dunk the ball doesn't mean anything. Although my heart is with White House, I believe that CPA will win the Region and move on to the State. Question, who was the POY and tourny MVP in 10AA?

Yet you don't mind an ex CPA teacher and coach questioning the ethics of the school. Shame on you. There is not hate in my email just love for what the school stands for.

At least he doesn't hide who he is, and few people are listening because of who he is and what happened 5 years ago. They teach you to question things over at CPA. Please re-read your message and check the tone of it.

Pitchfork is nuts again... Sycamore is no slouch. the rest of the teams in 9aa are. White House will be lucky to lose by less than 20. THEY STINK!!! and east lit doesn't :roflol:

Thanks. I would love to get a breakdown of 9AA strengths and weaknesses. White House came close to winning the 9AA title, but Sycamore hit a ton of threes. Does White House normally play a zone or man to man. I think the East Lit - White House game will be the best game of the openers.

...............shame on you for continuing your bitter battle.

Only proves a previous point – not related to the topic issues, doesn’t prove or disprove anything stated, and disagreement becomes a personal attack. Now there are those who want to make me the issue, hmmm, I wonder why???? It’s actually funny there are those who want to believe I created the issues. I’m only speaking to them. On the one hand there are those who say move on, but doesn’t seem like you really want me to since the posts continue that beg a response. Though I don’t see it lasting much longer, I decided to get involved, but didn’t want to hide behind a screen name, willing to be accountable to my words. IMO there are too many statements that have needed to be challenged or points clarified. Why? Because there are too many posts that simply attack and name call someone for disagreeing, talk about areas they really know nothing about or defend out of some type of blind loyalty when they obviously don’t know the whole story. Yet they are willing to make their personal, bold comments. It is simple as that, but can’t do a thing for those who want to make more of it.

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
