Just looked at the Top 10 for the Mid State in the Tennessean. For once in I do not know how long Riverdale is not only NOT in the top 10, it is not mentioned at all. In fact 5 of the top 10 have a loss and are evidently pick OVER R'dale. <_<

 

Even the most optomistic of R'dale fans can not find this anything but unacceptable!

 

Even though polls do not mean squat, it does show how a program is thought of. :angry:

There is only one poll that means squat. The 100% correct WaCoJaCo 6A Dirty Dozen. There you will find Riverdale ranked #6 in the State. :)

The poll is sad...Riverdale did scrimmage two of those teams...wonder how those turned out. A little homerism going on with the last half of the poll.

 

Riverdale has plenty of opportunities to make a splash over the next few weeks. Not sweating the poll but understand your observation.

Im also shocked !!!!! Look at it as a possitve....team motivation,,,chip on the shoulder and just prove em wrong...One year Gallatin went into the playoffs unranked ...popular radio station sports host said Gallatin would not be a factor in the playoffs..Newspapers gave us little chance of a win in the playoffs ..shirts were made G-factor...underdogs every week...we were lucky for 5 weeks and I believe motivation won the state championship...Good luck I hope your boys prove em wrong in the toughest region in the state !!!!!!

Duh!

What is so sad? This is not the BCS. There is a play off system. If and only if Riverdale is worthy of being a top team, then they will be there in the end when it really counts. Stop thinking that all the old coaches have thier teams much improved this year and face today head on. Stop living in the past. Have faith in coach "A". Get a clue, Rankin is gone.

 

If Riverdale is really a good team with good players, at the end of the day they will be winners.

Maybe a lot of Riverdale's success had to do with Rankin being a great coach and maybe it had to do with the fact that at the time Murfreesboro only had two schools. Old Dad why dont you just go support Oakland or something since you are turning into a cancer for Riverdale. Most of Oaklands staff has Riverdale connections.

before the rankin years we had a rough 4yrs not doing so well...but we usually won 7-8 games a yr and losing in the qtr finals...we were always a competitve team but never championship level we did win districts but never state

What a joke hey LOD! Hopefully the boys will keep working hard and improving every week! They can jam their mid-state poll. Keep going Warriors! :thumb::hungry:

      They did a 10 play series deal instead of down and distance. LC scored twice but if it had been an actual game neither would have mattered because they turned over the ball twice with Sweetwater forcing fumbles both times. LC only scored on the 2nd stringers as well. Defense is looking solid and the offense has a good running back and receiver who did not play last year but made several great catches during the scrimmage, I believe the cats had some key pieces missing with baseball and track still being in season at the time. Considering the wildcats were matched up against a 5A school the cats held their own and forced multiple turnovers while also creating scoring opportunities against the LC defense.

      I don’t see any of them guys why leave programs to go there with no community backing or anything. Word up here on the hill is davy and veto into it over whose kid should be q b for jr high. Tough times in tc hope it all changes with a new face. And once again we aren’t giving up shoulders. And he doesn’t want that crap down there lol

      Whoever gets hired I don’t think they will be there long, they’ll get ran out of town because they can’t win a tough region with a pee wee team.
