I went to the SH and West game last week and SH has alot of problems on offense. They are extremly poor run blockers, the receivers can't catch a cold, and the qb while a decent passer is not really what SC wants in a QB. He doesn't have the running ability to run that read option as well as it needs to be run. That's why he puts the Adams kid in at qb down on the goal line. He is much more of a running threat.

While I'm giving opinions I'll tell you what I think about that new stadium. I sat on the home side 5 rows up on the 45. The stadium is beautiful to look at but terrible to watch a football game. You're to far from the field and the stands go up and away from the field instead of going up. The jumbo tron looks like it is a mile away and to small. That chant you guys try and do everytime you get a first down is sad too because nobody participates. The biggest cheer I heard all night was when the band got done playing at halftime.

Toss . . . You are obviously entitled to your opinion. But, ya know, what? I think WaCo (and others) has you pegged! That's all I'm gonna say about that. 8-)

Hedging your bets this week toss? I mean, I guess if I knew my team was gonna get beat like a drum this week I might go looking for another team to talk smack to if they lost. While its your opinion that SH's offensive line is "extremly" poor at run blocking, I'd say its a fact that you are extremely poor at spelling. I'm the first to admit that SH's offense isn't clicking, but to say that they are poor run blockers and that Snyder can't run the read just shows that you don't know squat about football. The formation you refer to Adams being in on is the SH wildcat, but I suppose Boonies wouldn't know since Gray just got electricity hooked up last week. Wow, I'm all riled up and I don't even root for either team :roflolk:

Be fair and tell me what I said isn't true? How many drops did the wide receivers have last week? Tell me what kind of push your o-line was getting?

Are you upset with what I said about your team or the stadium. I would really like to know what you disagree with me about?

That's all great to hear. 3 lucky wins for the Toppers and they can hardly score in Pre-Game warm-up. And a sorry brand new stadium... great news.

If your going to worry about a misspelled word you might go join the spelling message board on geek.com because your knowledge lies in that area not football. If that is called their wildcat formation then fine, but that is the same formation they run all over the field. Since you are the expert in football answer this for me. If the line is good, and the QB is the perfect fit for the offense, than why isn't the offense clicking?

Well, we have lost 2 key players due to injury. One with a broken bone and the other with a bad sprang. It will hurt us to not have those guys, but thats football. I still think we will be alright.

OMG… here we go with the 6A violins again! Laying the ground work already aren't ya HILL! :hungry:

He’s not going to answer you Toss because truth be told… he probably agrees with you. How did the secondary coverage look? And does anybody know why Michelle didn’t get many carries in last weeks game? :popcorneater:

Just stating fact Cap1 . . . But, didn't you read that last line??

Concerned in losing 2 good players? yes . . . Confident in winning the game Friday night? YES!

Don't worry Cap1, we will be playing your song Friday night. I haven't seen any violins though. I can put in a special request for you, but can't make any promises. :ugeek:

How bout “Rocky Topâ€â€¦. I love to here that song at the games because it usually means we have scored.

On a serious note though… I think this game will be won or loss at the line of scrimmage. I don’t think either team has a clean cut advantage at skilled positions or athleticism… but from what I saw Friday with the Vikings, and from what Toss says… I think the O line that rises to the occasion will win the battle under the (NEW) lights. I can’t wait to see the new field!! This is by most accounts a rebuilding season for the Vikings. Lots of young players filling big shoes and gaining valuable experience this year. ;)

    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
