Collinwood is well coached and usually gives everyone fits. I say they will win the rest of their games except one.

 

I say Collinwood drops 2 more the rest of the season. One to Perry County, the other to Wayne County.

idk who will win this, i just remember 05 (i think) going in and upsetting an undefeated wayne county team on there homecoming. not saying its going to happen, but it wouldn't be the first time, and i've seen crazier things happen. Wayne county has had a solid team for a while now, and if they keep there heads on there shoulders they should win this one i think. but, like i said, i've seen crazie things!

I remember a crazy thing happening at CA's homecoming (I think it was hc anyway) in '08. CA was ranked like #4 or 3 in the state and nobody much was giving WC a chance. I believe WC won that game 31-9. What I'm getting at is anything can happen. CA could roll into town and leave with a W, or not. It's WC's choice in this one.

I don't know if this is sarcasim or what...but your right it was a bad game for WC. I'll be the one to say we took ya'll lightly that year. We thought we would win, but I asure you that you will not see that out of this bunch, espically with Coach Ricky Rice there. Go Cats.

 

na, we fair caught the first kickoff-sweep scored, yall scored then we scored on the next kickoffs i believe. maybe it was 3 td's in 2 plays. anyways...its irrelevant, fun to look back but ah well been a long time!

don't think so, 08 we only won 3 games, lost to FRA the first game, lost to cornersville the next week, and ended the season only winning like 3, perry county, zion, and someone else.

 

edit: what you're remember was 09 we were ranked 10th i think. but it wasn't homecoming

Oh well. I just remember one year it was early in the season and y'all were ranked high. It seems WC and CA have played each other at their homecomings a lot.

This is true...Homecoming and the fair in L'burg this week. I bet Coach Rice is having a conniption right now. He hates homecoming week ...lol...

I saw Coach Ricey at the fair last night and he was humdiggity excited about homecoming.(especially Field Day)

we beat em on our homecoming my sophomore year. and why not? its a lot better to beat a good team on your homecoming than beat a really bad team. to me, homecoming was just another game anyways. homecoming is for all the other people at the school, not the players...the players have a season to play.

Coach Rice hasn't slept since the 80's.... He is the Energizer Bunny. The Lawrenceburg fair was a chance to recruit new players and probably check on his present ones, or even his kids....

I did hear some talk of possibly two Lawrence County players coming over. Don't mention it yet OK!

Back in the mid 80's we played CA on homecoming. WE kicked off to them they drove it down and scored a TD. They kicked off to us and we fumbled it back to them then they drove and scored again(14-0 CA). They kicked off again then we fumbled like on the next play they drove in and scored again(21-0 CA). They scored 3 TDs before we even had a chance to get going. We came back and won the game (38-21) it was a great homecoming then.
