What a reward? Win the district and you may be stuck in the west quad. placing you with ridgeway and Jackson and Memphis schools. I bet the Jackets will be much satisified in year two as being third in the region. So who cares who wins the district, it only counts who wins in the playoffs under the new playoff system. A district title means nothing in the new playoff scheme the way teams are now seeded. Didn't Henry win the district last year to only lose to a 3 seeded Gallatin team? So I guess being a 3 seed is not all that bad in the big scheme of the new TSSAA playoff system.

Exactly, I don't won't speak for Kevin BUT I felt that was what he was speaking about when he spoke of making the playoffs. Doesn't really matter where you finish in the district as long as you get in and can compete. Actually, this disagreement is pretty much a moot point.

That is exactly what I was saying; I believe SP has a good chance to make a good run "IF" they can eliminate mistakes/turnovers when that time comes.....

For the record..HC did of course lose last year at home to the Green Wave who was a 3 seed! However, the Patriots would welcome a invite to Quad 4 just as we would a bid to Quad 3. Playing the Ridgeways and Melrose teams of Memphis is nothing new to Henry County! Furthermore, we are excited and certainly proud to see the Northside Indians with a much improved program...BUT..have never been intimidated by ANY of those programs and would welcome a chance at playing ANY of them...ESPECIALLY with playoff advancement on the line! As a matter of fact, HC owns the all-time record against Northside by a large margin...Melrose as well but there's not been as many games..therefore, it's not near as large! Speak for your own programs playoff aspirations...the Patriots will play whoever...whereever...when ever and will welcome the challenge!

The clock is running due to the mercy rule, SP is threatining to score.....

 

Ok they just scored; personal foul after the play, get this "wait for it" he dunked the ball over the goal post.....lol

Well since my wife had a medical procedure today I was unable to attend but from listening on the inet they didnt turn the ball over and only had a few penalties. That is all that really matters; they clearly over matched NW so I was just looking for improvements in those 2 areas. Hopefully this will continue in the last couple of games.....

 

They have Whitehouse next week which is a rivalarie game so you can throw their 4-4 record out the window. They are better than the record indicates and they will want to win this game very badly.....

      That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)

      Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.

      Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
