This is your first 1st post....and it's about downing Greenbrier? Let me guess your school colors... :popcorneater:

I'm just calling it the way I see it. It will be a long night for the 'cats unless they improve dramatically in certain areas (secondary). And you have no idea what my school colors are, but you can give it a shot if you really want to. :roflolk:

As for the game, nobody is surprising us by the predictions, and nobody is telling us something we don't know (who we beat and who we didn't beat). We KNOW we're the underdog. I've already said Goodpasture is THE powerhouse of this region. I think everyone acknowledges that, but I will never tell you that I don't believe in our Cats, just as any fan believes in their teams. Come Saturday morning, I'm pretty sure the Cougars and Cats will be in the playoffs, but also pretty sure we still gotta play this game. Here's to sportsmanship with no injuries.

Well since you posted and your "buddy" posted right after you with his 2nd post and his first post was about a WH and Sycamore game AND that he spoke up for you (see above) about school colors, I suspect he/you are one in the same and from one of those... which according to you on Post #19, must not qualify as "big boys" since we won against both.

greenbrier is going to go down big time in this one. 42-13 goodpasture district champs. There you have it.

The Goat sez: pitchfork1 Do you mean to say that WhiteHouse is not going to be

district champs? Or are they gonna be co-champs? Assuming they can stop the run, the pass the punt and the kick, I've got to go with WH by 3. :roflolk:

Well, since Sycamore is 3-6 and WH is 4-5 coming off a 35 pt loss to Springfield,

NO, I do not consider Syc or WH "big boys." Syc will most likely finish 3-7 and WH will finish 5-5 and lose in the first round of the playoffs. There is no way these teams can be considered "big boys."

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
