DmacDaddy
I ,for one, would like to see a little more passing going on. I like the up the gut running, but,ya gotta keep 'em honest. Ya think ? For the playoffs, anyhow. And the four quarters last night , and pretty busy at that , would help the stamina dept. I'm just SAYIN', I'm JUST sayin' . and

Maybe add a few wrinkles into the playbook to keep teams from putting ten men in the box.I'm not saying we should abandon the power game just mix it up some. Just my opinion. Polk04
This would be a perfect game for polk to work on the passing game some more. Meigs will be just over matched this game and polk will bring that hard hitting and Pride friday night. These seniors are a great group to watch and play together and stand by each other. They arew all like brothers and its been a great ride. HOpe they make a deep run into the playoffs.

polkalumn01
i see the starters playin one quarter.. then alot of rotating of younger kids.. no reason to risk injury is such an overmatched opponent.. it hurt polk last yr in the loudon game not havin christian to pound the ball cause of injury.. no need to take the chance.. so it may not be a blow out as expected... would love to see us make alcoa in the 3rd rd.. winnin would be virtually impossible.. but would be good to see how we match up ... I gotta agree with you on not having starters in to long, halftime maybe. The way Polk is playing right now, its scary for opponents. Im not blowing smoke folks, not sure what happened in the first game, but cannot beleive they lost. If anybody has the chance to beat Alcoa or Cak, this is the team, just my opinion. Coach J
I agree on both thoughts from you guys. Definitely work on some passing plays to take the routine in another direction and starters out early to prevent injury.
Yeehaw
I think Coach Davis is doing just fine - leave the man be. How many here have noticed that the ball never passed the second line of SP's kickoff return formation - effectively negating SP's special team talent? I believe our boys can boot it all the way if they want/need to. Coach Davis has it handled, no matter what we feel we need to say something or not. Something I heard today: "If it bleeds, you can hurt it". I like that for some reason. Go Cats!
