Actually, I'm going to have to go with March 22, 2003, when there will be a four-game event at MTSU. I've heard the winners get really cool stuff there, but they haven't said who will play yet.

 

Sarcasm aside, all four games will be a little bigger than a regular season game.

The Father Ryan/McGavock showdown at McGavock in February will be one heck of a game. It will definitely be one of the battles of Nashville as well as Division 1 vs. Division 2. What makes this even better is that both of these teams are very stacked and it is a rematch of 2000 Nashville Freshman City Championship game in which McGavock won.

I think the best game of the year will be McGavock and Maplewood. I would love to watch Bubba and A.J. go at it.

Bradley/Cleveland There are always 4-5 thousand people there and between the two schools there are 4 of the top juniors in the state. Cleveland also has a sophomore post that may be D1 if he keeps improving.

McMinn Central and McMinn County are cross town rivals and will match up Central who went to the state in both girls and boys last year with McMinn County a triple A powerhouse in both girls and boys. People say that Central's girls are the best in the state this year and McMinn boys have Juan Smith one of the best guards in triple A. Interesting!!

the first bradley cleveland game is one a friday nite...i think this is a smart move...they did this last year and at was packed...cleveland can except to be shut down by halftime of the girls game nobody else will be able to come in...it could decided the district champ...and the winner of this game will prob win dist. and reg. and have a home sub-state game...big rivalry, crowd, importance...jan 24 at cleveland i will be there
