I think a better indicator to stopping Bearden is to make sure their QB Reimer has a bad game. Young is going to get his yards, he's had many great games that Bearden has lost. If you let Reimer get hot you may have problems keeping them from scoring a lot of points. I think Bearden has many athletes that can contribute, and keeping them from getting fired up will be important. For bearden to win they better have more than a 7 point lead as the game winds down, because if Maryville has any chance to win in the end they will. Even 7 points might not be enough. Although it kills me to pull for Bearden, I just want to see someone, other that Alcoa, on this side of the state beat Maryville.

Blount co, Knox co, Loudon co. allstars- 35 Bearden-21, score one for me Mr Young at least you stayed home and are loyal to your community1

Yawn! here we go again. The only way Maryville can be so consistently good is to import players....

Not true! I just saw a list of players' addresses and all but one has a Maryville address...

One day the haters will figure out our success doesn't depend on our level of talent, just the dedication to hard work and execution by the team and the staff. We have the cream of the crop of the best coaches from all around the state, however....
