Traintracks, let me ask you a question. Do you think this Moto guy has stolen some of your whiskey and put it in some of my hot cocoa and drank to many Thermos of it? I garuntee you that stuff will have an effect on your thinking ability after a while. You think im joking but im not.

Roy I didn't drink your hot cocoa and I didn't steal anything. If the cops read this I may get arrested and I won't be allowed to get on this website. I don't want this to happen so if the cops ask you about this you better tell them the truth.

I said I had my red colored glasses on...

I've watched the game again as well and I have to say it wasn't as bad the second time around; at least not the first half. JB made so many mistakes. A couple of things I noticed the second time around...

* Why we sometimes ran a front with two 1-techniques and two 6-techniques I'll never know. Maybe the coaches saw something I didn't. Our best defense was when we played straight up.

* Losing Bolt showed up big time as I watched the game again. Offensively our short passing game was all but gone and really no chance of a big play without him. Defensively his absence showed up even more. He was the best open field tackler I've seen at JB in my time. With my red colored glasses on I've got to believe he would have limited the long runs by hale. I seen on several occasions the backup safety still back peddling after the ball was handed off. We needed better run support from the safety position and Bolt would have done that. In the passing game I think he would have made a play or two as well. As zone mentioned, we were playing up close on the go route that went for a TD but he may have picked up on it and made a play on the ball. That's the bad thing about the injury...it leaves you second guessing. What if SP doesn't connect on the pass, what if Bolt eliminated the long TD runs; would JB have had more fight in them?

With that said, there's no doubt in my mind that SP was the better team. They were bigger, stronger, and faster! But if my red colored glasses didn't lie to me and all those "if's" happen and SP has a couple more turnovers we could have had a ball game on our hands. JB would have had to play lights out and catch a few breaks to beat a team like SP. Congrats again to the Pirates!

Good post, moto and I agree with others, that you guys are ok. Your team showed a lot of sportsmanship, I have the upmost respect now for your school and community. Good luck next year. I apologize for some on here.

Try borrowing a pair of those orange colored glasses and watching the game again. :thumb:

I garuntee you that I went over to that game with three Thermos's full of hot cocoa and only came back with two. Now I know where my other thermos went to. If in fact TT99 has some whiskey missing, we will know for sure what happened to it. You think im joking but im not.

Check the bus and also check with Vic...Vic likes to take stuff from you. Don't you remember him overcharging you for those tickets? As for the whiskey, TT99 wasn't at the game (as usual) so it couldn't have been me.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
