I would agree with you Mr. Boone, however while reading your post a little name came to my mind, so I am going to have to disagree with you. In my opinion, and I think that others would agree, that if this wrestler stays on the path he's going, he will easily be on the path to beating many Tennessee high school records, even national. I believe the great Eli King could own that crown.

Been beaten once in his High School career. Super 32 is a Pre Season tournament and perhaps Mr Watson has concentrated on something else besides rasslin durning the dog days of summer.

Jordan Leen won the NHSCA senior nationals and that made him an elite high school wrestler. Zach has not won or placed at that level tournament yet. Several years ago, I thought Zach would be one of the best wrestlers to come out of Tennessee. There is still time to join the ranks of Leen, Croy, Marable, Simpson, Keller, Mang, Kennedy, Thomas and others that have placed at the top national tournaments. Hopefully, he will break through. The win over the CH wrestler was a big win and congrats to Zach!

I think TJ DUNCAN could be considered as The best high school wrestler from tennessee if he wins his 5th State Title just out of high school and Leen def an Elite. Maybe I am missing something, but I thought the FR line by wrestling god was funny and not meant in any bad way. Then facenthecrowd went crazy. Get off wrestling god's back.

 

As for bringing up elementary and middle school wrestlers in the same conversation as the greatest TN high school wrestlers, that's too premature and puts pressure on youth wrestlers. I have seen young wrestlers win Liberty, Tulsa Nationals and others, then struggle to place in their state or worse yet, lose the passion and not even wrestle in high school. My advice, take it a step at a time, celebrate the success of the moment, but don't equate it to high school success which is years away.
