2priceless
It is a new year and all the players on your school's team are considered a grade level older. What are your hopes for this coming football season? I hope we work a bit harder on the leg strength of our o-linemen this year at Oakland. It seems like they weren't as strong as in yr's past. Hit that weightroom hard in the off-season boys!
TDCman
Well, for Riverdale. 1. Recruit, recruit, recruit. The hallways at 802 Warrior drive are loaded with talent that needs to get back on the football field. 2. Need a great off-season in the weight room and conditioning. Opposing teams should not be posting about how "soft" the Riverdale players are. 3. I would like to see a spring practice planned and executed. 4. Get the web site up and running so that the faithful can be kept informed. Make a plan and post it there...it instills confidence and creates a degree of accountability. 5. Find the right guy to run the defense. Coach A showed a big heart by giving Coach Wells the opportunity but it just isn't working. This should actually be #1a. 6. 3-4 defensive linemen that are quick, agile, fast, and ferocious. Don't care how big they are...just want quick, agile, fast, and ferocious. See #1 for where these guys may be found. (we do have a couple guys coming back that might get there but need more, many more). 7. Reset the goals and expectations back to one thing, and only one thing, the GOLD BALL. Edited December 31, 2010 by TDCman

I resolved to keep it to three dogs per game this year instead of my usual 6.

I am sure LOD has to limit his intake . I will take up the slack (as long as Ms Wingy does not know about it).
