I watched the first 4 innings between Anderson County and Farragut yesterday at Farragut. the score was 11-0 Farragut and Pfeifer hadn't pitched up to that point. #2 from AC pitched the first 3 innings and gave up 4 runs......#13 pitched the 4th and gave up 7 runs. Farragut then started to play all their subs after that. I do not know what happened after the 4th inning.

#2 is Williams and #13 is Durand. Wow, they really laid it on Durand; Farragut is just that good. I've seen where UT Freshmen and former Admirals Nick Williams and Ethan Bennett are already contributing to SEC...that program is just on another level from most H.S. programs.

5 of Durand's 7 were unearned is what I calculated. And 1 of Williams 4 were unearned as well. I expect huge things from what I have saw in the past out of these two. Just wondering if the defense behind them can give any help.

That's surprising that Powell didn't swing it any better. These scrimmage games with several pitchers throwing can be deceiving though.

Trying to get details of Halls vs Lenoir City on Monday. Heard Halls won something like 5-2 but thats all I know. If I get any details will post them.

Report on Halls vs South Doyle tonight rained out after 3 innings. All 3 innings played in steady rain. Halls ahead 3 or 4 to 0 when they called it. Halls had 4 or 5 hits. Painter pitched all 3 innings with 6 Ks.

Any scrimmage results in 3AAA? Oak Ridge looked good against Jefferson County last week with all around good pitching, defense, and hitting. OR won 10-8 in 12innings. They scrimmage CAK tonight. Sophomore Jordan Lane was lights-out for first three innings pitching, and he brought a good stick as the lead-off hitter as well. Sophomore Connor Roberts (2 innings) and Freshmen Kevin Steen (1 inning) had zero earned runs as well against a good hitting JC team, so OR pitching looks to be strong over the next two years provided they all stay healthy and continure to develop.

Thats a good scrimmage for Oak Ridge. Jeff County should have a good hitting team this year, but are supposed to be woefully short on pitching. These first few scrimmages the pitchers are usually way ahead of the hitters. It will be fun when the season starts.

Oak Ridge scrimmaged CAK for 4 innings in a steady rain on Tuesday. Both teams only threw one pitcher to get them their reps set for their first REAL start this coming Monday. Oak Ridge threw Jordan Lane, and he did well once again striking out 7. They called the game due to rain with the score 0-0 after 4. You're right, though; pitchers are ahead of the hitters at this point in the year, so I'm not too surprised by all the posts where scores seem lower than usual.
