daytime6
Just so I understand your thinking....You pick Soddy to win it, then in your tie breaker you pick Bradley? ha, no. TYPO
Sommers
3rd (2 pts): Ravenwood (defeats Independence in a close match to get to consolation finals) 4th (1 pt): Science Hill (beats Blackman for 2nd time to get to consolation finals...why is there no switchover??) GOOD POINT! You may be talking about a Darkhorse Just Falling Short, and IF the Indy match is close its due to forfeiting out...IMO. Is there a 5th & 6th? I can See Blackman in there... and yes, NO SWITCHOVER????? What's the possibility of open wildcard invites in 2011-12? ...It would be interesting with the Owls and Blue Raiders in there! Finally, ol Papa Bear may have a surprise in there for D-2!!

mat73557
The cross-bracket is in the second round of the consolations. Shouldnt L21 and L22 be switched?
silverpie
Shouldnt L21 and L22 be switched? No, because then two teams who met in the quarterfinals could meet again in consolation semis. With three rounds worth of losers and only two halves of the bracket, there's no way to guarantee avoiding rematches in that round.

The bracket is set up basically to eliminate a rematch of quarter-finalists. That is just the way it has to be with 16 teams.

PRTiii
and IF the Indy match is close its due to forfeiting out...IMO. I disagree, if you were at the first match, when it started at the lighter weights, Indy won 103, lost up to 130, won 30, 40, 45, 60, 71, and 285. Just so you don't have to count, that's 7 matches each team. Ravenwood wrestled their entire varsity lineup then too. They won by I believe 7 points in the end, that is a close dual, but Indy gave up more bonus points in their matches. The 2nd time they faced Indy didn't give up as many bonus points as the last time at all, they started at the heavy weights and Indy only lost one match that they won, 285, then won 103, lost up to 30, then lost a close match at 30 and 35, both with a last 15 second reversal then Gray caught Little on his back while losing and stuck him. Which essentially won them the dual. If Indy wrestles like they did last time, and wins 30 and doesn't get caught at 40, it will be a close match, Indy could come out on top, however I don't see it happening. Should be a great dual to watch. Not as good as that Bradley Soddy Daisy match up of course. I might just slip outta the stands in the Irish's last match to go watch that one.
