Jackson County,Lake County or Cloudland will be your state champions this year. If I had to go with a sleeper it would be Clay County though.

Your predictions for state champions are good I agree but its way to early to see who will be going this year and not just because they are my hometown team or anything but Bradfords Lady Devils are pretty strong this year with 1 senior, 8 juniors, 1 sophmore, and 4 freshman! If they dont get further than substate like last year this year then look for those 8 juniors stepping up to be seniors and taking it ALL THE WAY next year!!

Can't wait to see Bradford. If that's the case District 14A is loaded.I have seen Greenfield and thought they looked very good. They have the speed on defense to not let Lake Co get easy baskets. So with Greenfield,Union City and Bradford.Going to be tough.

The Chattanooga area teams are usually pretty weak. CSAS gets the dog beat out of them when they play Clarkrange or JC so this guy's very optimistic. Sounds like Rex Ryan talking.

The year before last CSAS put 5 seniors on the court who where very good making it all the way to the state semis, but that is the best team i've seen come from that area in some time.

14A in my opinion has always been loaded!! But this year should be super fun lots of great teams and great players!! Bradford is ready first 4 games and we are 4-0! Strong Defense and Nice Offense it should be nice to see how well we play we district games start!!

District 9A has a few good teams as well, with Moore County, Forrest, Huntland and Cascade leading the way. Look for the Raiderettes from Lynchburg to be in the mix in March.

He needs to worry about getting past the opponents from Region 4 other than once in a blue moon before he expects to win state.

They have put up some big numbers on outmanned teams so far, but have also lost to Marion and Sale Creek already. They should still win their district but Marion, Whitwell and Sale Creek are in the region, in the opposite district. (talking about Silverdale, which was mentioned as a state title contender by their coach)

    • Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe….i drove the lawnmower down to practice today…….hmmmm…… we got some new faces………. One can run faster than my lawnmower in fifth gear…… a few will be disappointed come November that they jumped ship and went down to that sewage facility……. You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • I don't know what's going on in the town of McMinnville, but I've read this and it's disturbing.  I'm a "player" person, and I want what's best for the player. If a player gets cut off the team because she said the "F word" then good grief. I mean, come on guys. I wish there was a way for the player to transfer to a different program and just play ball. There are a lot of athletes that are stuck because they're in crappy situations regarding their team/coach. This is player just happens to be one them.
    • Won't happen. College coaches will back the coach every time and it cost this young lady her senior season. Looks like the player may be right on this one. School let her  go after one season. This stuff happens more than you think.
    • “No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team.” For language? I’m not seeing that as a dealbreaker.
    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
